A never-ending journey

We are fully committed to continuous improvement in our working practices, including adopting Lean Sigma, Kaizen training events and group improvement tools across the business.

Following the success of our own Purple Plan, which virtually eliminated waste in the Repair Centre and slashed engine Turn Around Times (TAT) by more than 50 per cent, we have embraced both the theory and practice of SC21 (Supply Chain 21st Century). It will facilitate dramatic progress towards rolling out a Continuous Sustainable Improvement Plan.

Striving for SUCCESS

Turbomeca UK ’s Purple Plan was quickly adopted by our parent company and relaunched as the corporate-wide SUCCESS plan. Managers from Fareham helped to introduce the new working practices at sites in South Africa and Australasia . TAT have continued to shorten and we expect that SUCCESS to result in lower prices for our customers.

We studiously monitor our working practices, in the full understanding that the bar must be continuously raised and that, in the end, there is no such thing as Total Quality.
