History

Turbomeca UK was formed in December 2007. as the result of a merger between Microturbo Limited (founded in 1973) and Turbomeca Limited (1989).  CEO Christian Hamel explains, "The change was necessary for reasons of consistency, since most other sites use the Turbomeca name followed by the area from which they operate.

"This new name defines each of us as a full member of a worldwide network. With an enviable industrial capability covering both Turbomeca and Microturbo products, the strength of the organisation will increase through the skills-set of our workforce as well as the quality of product".
