We repair and overhaul the Arriel 1 family of engines, modules and accessories and are preparing to offer a similar service to Arriel 2 customers. We anticipate first egine release in May 2012.
Arriel
Turbomeca has produced over 7,800 Arriel turboshafts to date, logging more than 25 million flight hours with over 1,300 customers in 110 countries. Since its launch in 1977, 28 different versions of the Arriel have powered some 30 light and medium helicopter types.
New versions are currently being developed with production and sales still on the rise. This achievement represents a unique success story in the industry, with the Arriel leading the world in its category.
One new variant, the 1E2, powers the BK117 and EC145 – a type currently making an impact in the UK law enforcement sector. The brand-new Arriel 2+ family offers operators up to 10% reduction in DOC.
