Power up
This SAPHIR 10 Auxiliary Power Unit is designed for the restricted space of the APU bay in the BAE Systems Hawk 100 LIF, Hawk 200 and Advanced Jet Trainer.
At Fareham we repair, overhaul and test the Saphir 10, alongside other starting systems for the Hawk and Jaguar, on behalf of Microturbo SA. 2011 was a particularly successful year for our small team, bringing record orders from worldwide Hawk customers. Other OEM customers include Goodrich (air starters) and Alenia (EFA/Typhoon air starter).
We also overhaul and repair oil pumps for the Arriel and Arrius gas turbines.
